Who We Are at My Cleveland Project
Our Vision
My Cleveland Project is a project with the thought of having a group of musicians collaborating together in writing new material for air play and live performances. With the many musicians available in the Cleveland area and an outreach of former Clevelanders, the interest was over whelming. The criteria for the project is simple. Have a connection with Cleveland, have the understanding that there will be other musician playing on different songs, if you don’t like or don’t want to perform on a song you don’t have to and there is no pressure to do live shows or tour, just do what you want to do. With the experienced group of musicians collaborating in this project, the songs and live shows should be incredible. Some of the musicians have performed in local and in regional bands, from Alaska to Maine, all along the east and west coast and of course Cleveland. Some preform live; some do only studio work and some had stopped playing all together. This project is bringing all of us together to record and have fun. The interesting phenomenon with My Cleveland Project is that the musicians ages range from there early 20s to their late 60s, Male and female and influences from music from all types of genre, rock, jazz, blues, etc. I feel this has helped in so many ways to create a true representation in creating new music that we all love.
